Glaucoma is a condition in which there is an increase of pressure,
known as raised Intraocular Pressure, inside the eyeball which slowly
destroys the optic nerve leading to the brain. This results in a loss
of peripheral or side vision and may eventually result in blindness.
Glaucoma can be treated with eye drops and some medication to decrease pressure.
